Wesley Fletcher

Wesley Fletcher

I'm an engineering leader with over a decade of experience bringing complex products through production — from organ care medical devices to autonomous mobile robots.

My core competency is in manufacturing engineering, but I've enjoyed experiences bridging operations, NPI, and component design. I thrive working on complex electromechanical products in collaborative, challenge-rich environments.

In my spare time I'm an avid outdoorsman, and am passionate about exploring the overlap between technology and nature.

Experience

  1. May 2025 — Present

Advanced Manufacturing Engineer at Amazon Robotics, N. Reading MA

Owned supplier manufacturing strategy and qualification for Proteus Gen2 autonomous mobile robot. Led sustaining cost-reduction efforts for Hercules drive units. Served as the primary technical interface between Supply Chain, Hardware Engineering, and AR suppliers.

  2. Jan 2019 — May 2025

Manufacturing Engineering Manager at TransMedics, Inc., Andover MA

Progressed from Process Quality Engineer through Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to Engineering Manager over six years. As manager, led four direct reports through a 10× production scale-up of OCS Consoles, drove a 44% reduction in component defects, implemented automated PCB test equipment for a 10× throughput gain, and led MES discovery and early implementation.
